St John's CofE Primary School

Nurturing potential within a Christian ethos

Thank You from Gardening Club

The Gardening club would like to thank the people who came to St John’s School on Saturday 25th February to work in the Millennium Garden.

Alex Stallwood, from Stallwood Landscapes, kindly offered his time to trim some large tree branches to allow more sun onto the vegetable plots. He also managed the removal and eco disposal of the enormous pile of garden rubbish that had built up under the trees next to the cricket field. He took away 3 lorry loads!

There were many parents and children who helped and also members of the Loosely Row and Lacey Green Horticultural Society. With special mention to Adam Healey, from the society, who spent the whole day working extremely hard for the school. The whole garden looks fantastic!

Thanks once again from the children in the club, the school and 2 very grateful teachers.

Mrs Bottomley and Mrs Robinson.
