Collective Worship Committee
Adult leaders – Mrs Thomas / Mr Newton / Reverend Tony Bundock
The committee comprises of pupil representatives from years 1-6 who meet to discuss, plan and prepare whole school and class collective worships centred on our Gospel values. The passion, drive and enthusiasm demonstrated by our committee members helps to ensure that collective worship is a powerful opportunity for our school community to come together to worship the Lord in a meaningful and age appropriate manner.
The committee's roles and responsibilities include setting up prayer tables or reflective focal areas, choosing relevant scripture that speaks to them and reading out prayers.
The Collective Worship Committee have had a significant impact on collective worship within our school by giving children a sense of ownership over their own worship.
