Nurturing potential within a Christian ethos

Princes Risborough Gym and Dance Festival -Thursday 12th July

We were well represented at this year's Gym and Dance Festival, by the Natalie Jane Dance Club and  St John's Gym Club. The event, held at PRUS, showcased the gym and dance work of local primary schools as well as their own students.

During the first half of the performance, John's dancers performed an energetic, '9 to 5' routine. The girls wore colourful costumes representing a variety of workplaces - there were nurses, medics, cabin crew, fitness instructors, ballerinas and more. The performance, choreographed by Natalie Jane, was full of energy and demonstrated great dance technique from the girls.

St John's Gym Club performed in the second half of the programme. Their routine, to Liberty Walk, was a combination of dance and gymnastic moves. Choreographed by the children, the performance included acrobatics, pair work and individual agilities. The final routine showed great teamwork with movements well synchronised.

Mrs Rodbourne and Natalie Jane would like to thank all the children for their hard work in preparing for this event; to parents, for their support and to Mrs Marshall, Mrs Thomas , Miss Moulder and Miss Henley who helped on the night.

Good Luck to the Natalie Jane Dance School for this weekend's show!
