The Race to 100,000 Bounces
We have been invited to take part in the Wycombe and Marlow School Games competition, where last year, we were awarded with both the School Games Award and the Virtual School Games Badge.
The first challenge we have been set is to come together (as part of the wider Wycombe and Marlow Team) and collectively bounce any ball 100,000 times!
The aim of the game is simple. All you have to do is bounce any type of ball any way you wish; against the floor, wall, with a racket, with your foot, it all counts. There is no time limit, no age limit, just bouncing a ball.
You can submit this as many times as you like. We are also collecting bounces from the whole household so the whole family can get involved.
When you are ready to submit a score, parents/pupils can submit their amount of bounces via this link: https://forms.gle/Z3NtQ2R4SsbhHXvo6
A running total on Twitter will be collected as well as highlighting entries on a regular basis on twitter. This can be found at @SchoolGamesWycM. If you wish to show off your skills and you can use the #RaceTo100kBounces.
As this is part of the School Games offer, your participation will go towards our School Games Award.
The challenge will start with immediate effect and will end on Friday 12th February 2021. All pupil participants will receive a certificate and participation sticker after half term.
