Mental Health Awareness Week W/C 18th May 2020

Mental Health Awareness Week

Kindness strengthens relationships, develops community and deepens solidarity.

Simon Blake OBE Chief Executive of MHFA.

Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and the theme this year is kindness. As we have seen over recent weeks, kindness has come to the fore with people supporting front line workers, neighbours, and signing up to support projects in their community.

At St John's we want to celebrate this week by encouraging everyone to get mentally healthy by spreading a little kindness. The seven days of kindness calendar encourages you to do two acts of kindness each day and suggests ideas you can use.  During this week, email the office any pictures and examples of your acts of kindness to share as part of our Friday News. Below is the link to the Mental Health Awareness Week website which has lots of ideas and support for everyone's mental health during these challenging times.
